Mack Trucks is now taking orders for 2011 which will have SCR technology.
Please click on the link below to understand the new diesel emission for 2011.
Selective Catalytic Reduction(SCR) is an exhaust system that allows Mack/Volvo to achieve the near-zero emission of nitrogen oxides(NOx). With the use of the SCR Mack/Volvo will meet the EPA’s 2010 standards without emissions credits, while at the same time optimizing our engines for even better fuel economy. We already make extremely efficient and clean engines and our engine technology and experience allow us to meet this challenging requirement at the exhaust pipe. Mack/Volvo’s years of experience with SCR, including North American experience in customer test fleets, make us very confident that this is the right choice for our customers.

First MACK® Pinnacle™ Built on Macungie Production Line
LEHIGH VALLEY, PA (August 19, 2009) – A new era began on August 13, when the first MACK® Pinnacle™ tractor came off the production line at the Macungie Assembly Operations in Pennsylvania. Macungie already produces the MACK® Granite™, MACK® TerraPro™ and Titan by Mack™ models, and with this addition now assembles the complete lineup of MACK heavy-duty trucks.
Production of the Pinnacle model is being transferred to Macungie from the New River Valley Plant in Dublin, Virginia to take advantage of efficiencies arising from consolidated assembly, and to create a brand-specific environment for Mack customers. Pinnacle production is expected to be fully transferred to Macungie by the end of November.
To commemorate the start of Mack highway truck production at Macungie, the first 1,000 Pinnacle models built there will be adorned with special Mack Bulldog decals on their hoods.
